The words library allows you to:

  • Browse your words in the Words sub-tab.
  • Organize your words in the Tags sub-tab.
  • Review the stories generated from sets of words you studied in the stories sub-tab.

Words Sub-tab: Browse Your Words

Switch between List and Card View

In the list view, you can click a card icon on any item to switch to the card view. To switch back, click the list icon button on a word card.

  • List View: Allows you to browse your words at speed.
  • Card View: Allows you to deep dive into a word of interest.

Rich features to help you navigate and edit are located at the bottom toolbar:

  • Filter Button: Allows you to see all words or only words from selected tags.
  • Prefix Search Box: Type any prefix you are interested in to quickly locate the range of words you want to see.
  • Add Words Button: You can add more words while you are in the library.
  • Toolbox Button: Clicking this reveals another toolbar at the top, offering even more intuitive tools to help you navigate or edit.

Card View Features

Card view also has rich features to help you navigate and edit.

Top Right Buttons (Edit):

  • Mark Mastered: Allows you to skip all learning sessions for this word.
  • Mark Relearn: Allows you to mark a word as "New" to go through the learning sessions again.
  • Delete: Enables you to delete the word from your library.

Bottom Tools (Navigation):

  • Prev/Next Buttons: Quickly navigate to the previous or next card.
  • Index Navigation: The index (e.g., "Index / #Words") is editable. You can type a numeric index directly or a prefix to quickly navigate to the word of interest.

Tags Sub-tab: Organize Your Words

This sub-tab allows you to browse and organize your words by tags. Tags are like stickers you put on words. When you delete a tag, it is like peeling off and discarding stickers; the words still remain in your library.

Examples:
  • If you study for a mid-term exam, you may want to tag all relevant words with “mid-exam”.
  • If you prepare for a medical conference, you might label relevant words with a “medical” tag.
  • When those events are over, you can delete those tags without deleting the words themselves.
  • Create Tag: Click the + floating button to create a new tag.
  • Manage Tags: Each list item has edit and delete buttons to manage the tag conveniently.

Stories Sub-tab: Review Generated Stories

You can revisit the stories generated during your study sessions. These stories help you refresh your memories of the words you already studied.

If you don’t like your stories, you can simply delete them.
